Sold exclusively through The Conran Shop in London, Paris, New York and Japan, The Well Considered range is a collection of intelligently designed, essential products for the home. Aimed at a younger generation of customers, the range combines simplicity and common sense, wit and charm with the unexpected.
To complement this ethos, The Conran Shop approached the Spanish artist and designer, Javier Mariscal, known for his bold and colourful style, and commissioned him to produce illustrations to form the core identity for the range.
These illustrations were applied by Studio Conran to over 30 pieces of packaging, promotional collateral and point of sale. Each piece was treated differently; determined by different materials, shapes and sizes, and this in turn, inspired the individual, bright and playful application of the designs. Instore graphics, press books, mugs and bags were also produced to complement the packaging and introduce the range to its customers.
Launched in August 2009, the range has become a core component within the shops and has been so successful it now accounts for 6.5% of total sales in the UK stores alone.
